Originally made for a class assignment, this was an concept for the Ascend Magazine logo. I went into Illustrator and combined three elements: a book, mountain, and birds. As the motif is to convey soaring, I chose to use the pen and shapebuilder tools to curve out the the A and manipulate the anchors.
